This autumn we are launching new programs designed for those who want to go beyond the classroom and experience English as a cultural, critical, and creative tool. Two distinct initiatives, but with the same objective: learning the language through meaningful experiences.

Homage to George Orwell

In collaboration with the Official Language Schools (EOI) of Barbastro and Lleida, we offer an immersive journey through one of the key texts of the 20th century: Homage to Catalonia.

The project combines dynamic, participatory English-language sessions focused on comprehension and discussion with a hands-on experience: a guided tour in English of the trenches, where history, memory, and language intertwine.

A unique opportunity to practice English through critical reflection, connecting literature and real-world context.

Rural Women in Films

A project that focuses on the representation of rural women in recent cinema. Led by Katie Hanzalik, we will explore how film constructs narratives about identity, territory, and gender. Through a carefully curated selection of audiovisual pieces, analytical activities, and conversation sessions in English, participants will develop both their linguistic competence and their critical perspective.

This program combines language, image, and contemporary reality.

Both initiatives are aimed at English learners at level B1 and above, eager to actively participate, share ideas, and discover new ways of learning the language beyond the conventional.
